Jazmen was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and is passionate about its natural heritage. She is a botanist and former professional wetland ecologist with 8 years of formal education, and over 10 years’ experience in practicing and implementing outdoor skills.

Jazmen founded Northwest Natura in 2022 to put her education to use in her community. Her personal mission is to share the wisdom she received from experiences outdoors, schooling, and years of dedication to honing her craft and journey in understanding her place in the environment.

Jazmen and her husband Jeff reside in Bellingham, WA with their 17-year-old cat, Prince.
