Fungi Ecology and Identification
What to Bring:
Dress for the weather and wear at least 1 bright colored thing.
Snacks/Lunch and water
Waterproof or water-resistant footwear
Foraging basket or bag (canvas or mesh, no plastic)
You may also want to bring:
Bug spray
A mushroom field guide
Pocketknife
DSLR camera
Notebook and pen (we have NWN notebooks + pens for 6/ea)
This course will take place either in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest or in the foothills of Mt. Baker inside Whatcom County. As the date approaches, we will be able to better determine the best spots to go foraging. You will receive an email with details and directions a few days prior to the 11th of November.
